Grant's Blessing Day!

This past weekend i went to St. George/Cedar City to visit my sister and go to baby grant's blessing.. The trip started out on thursday night driving to St. George with my papa! We got there late so basically i just went to bed. Then on Friday the parentals went to work so i drove papa's woof woof car (the tracker) to visit my nephews in cedar.

Owen was decorating a ginger bread house with his little friend Jake so i got to be Grant's babysitter for little while. Then we went to lunch, and of course i had to take Owen in the woof woof car to go find a Tractor!

That night my parents took me to Outback! Then my mom and i went shopping on Saturday! But because of the limited shopping in St. George i didn't spend any money haha!

On Sunday we drove up to Cedar for Church at 9 a.m. I think Owen was pretty excited to have all of the family there. He kept crawling over the benches back and forth between his parent's, my family, and the Callister's.

We went back to Mckell's for a litte breakfast and then back home. Logan had to stay home because of school so it was fun to come back and see him!

Here are a few pics i took after the blessing..

Halloween!

This Halloween Logan and I dressed up as a monkey and a banana! He really wanted a gorilla suit but seeing as it was 100 dollars, i had to put my foot down! We started off the night barbequing steaks. They were super yummy and all the 5 sets of trick or treaters were jealous of the wonderful smell. We went to Jeanette and Paul's then went to see one of my cute nephews(Cooper) and neice (Taylor) in their costumes. We intended on going to thunder alley at the bowling alley, but everyone ditched out so we came home and watched some tv and went to bed! Next year i get to choose the costumes so Logan better be ready for some spandex or something.. i will make it good haha!!

This is what happens when i donate blood!

Last week i decided to donate blood with Logan. As you can see, my arm got bruised because of my generousity haha. I don't think that i will be donating blood again. Luckily, i will get to find out what type of blood i am.. Although i know that i am probably 1 of 2 types..
I took the picture to the left the day after i donated blood.. and the picture on the right is one week later.. As you can see it is slowly healing.. but still hurts when i bump it.. Oh well.. hopefully by next week i won't look like an abused wife anymore haha!!

One Year Already!??

Tomorrow is our one year anniversary! I can't believe how fast it went.. Everyone always says that the first year is the hardest but we never noticed. We haven't done alot this year, since Logan is always studying, but hopefully one year we we be able to do something fun over our anniversary/fall break.
I don't know what we will be doing to celebrate but i do know that we are going to dinner and that will be a blast.
We bought a new kitchen table for our anniversary gift to each other.. Now
we will be able to fit more than two plates. It is super cute and i am way excited to have a table of our own..
Hopefully we don't look too different since it has only been one year.. i think that i look pretty much the same.. maybe the birth control made me gain a few pounds but i like to think i am still 103.. haha.. Logan on the other hand has bulked up in the last year.. Which is good considering he was still trying to gain weight back after the mission when we got married..
We are excited to pass the "newlywed" stage but considering that there won't be any children in our immediate future, i think we might still be enjoying life like "newlyweds" for a few more years...

Grant Clark Callister

My sister Mckell had a little boy on Monday, September 14th! He weighed in at 7lbs 7oz and measured 19.75 inches. He came out with a whole head of dark hair and thankfully the nurses styled it into a fauz hawk so he could impress all the newborn girls in the nursery!

I was lucky enough to be able to tend Owen while his mom and dad were at the hospital.. We had tons of fun jumping on the blow up mattress, getting chased around by Owen's toy snake, playing golf and basketball, digging in the dirt, and most importantly watching the Goofy Movie. Although i am sure he loves me, he missed his mom and dad so we had a few rough times which reminded me of why i am not baby hungry!

When i took Owen to meet Grant, he was so excited to give him a fuzzy of his own! as a big brother he got a little concerned when the nurse took Grant's temperature so Owen got his own check up!

Baby and mom are doing great! No C-section this time, so she can have all the babies she wants(which will probably only be two more). Grant has to be on lights for a few days due to a conflict between Joe and Mckell's blood type. Lucky for me Joe and Logan are both A Positive and Mckell and I are both negative, so i guess one day our offspring get to be exposed to uv lights very soon in their life! Logan offered to get different blood when i told him, which is super sweet but very impossible.
We are super excited for our new nephew! As you can tell he is very cute!! He is probably the last addition to the Brems side for a while. Hopefully my next post about a baby will be the first nephew or neice from the Webster side.

Our First Place!!

Now that we are about to move to Orem, i decided it would be best if i actually made a post about our first apartment!! We absolutely loved being there and will miss it! But saving a little dough and being closer to Logan's school will be a fun change or pace! Here are a few pictures that i took!We are leaving the 18th!

Freedom Cookies!!

This year for July 4th, Logan and i decided that it would be fun to make sugar cookies and frost them in red white and blue. Luckily Logan had bought me 100 cookie cutters so we had stars and flags and shooting stars if you look really close in the picture you will even find July 4th spelled out.. We decided to double the recipe we got from Mckell without knowing how many cookies it would really make...

...After making cookies all morning we enlisted some help from Jeanette to come frost them with us. She was there for a bout 2 hours just frosting so you can imagine how long it took to make them as well.. Ha hA.. we put the cookies in the fridge so the frosting would harden faster..(good thing we were out of food or this would have been a probablem..) Altogether we counted over 100 cookies.. But surprisingly they were all gone by sunday.. Don't judge us if we may have gained a few holiday pounds!! and apparently i have issues turning pictures haha!!
