Update on the Websters

I can't believe that it is already Christmas! It seems to sneak up on us every year, and as you can tell by my last post, it certainly did this year.  The last few months have been extremely hectic at our house.  Both Logan and I have been in school, working, and serving with the Youth in our Ward.  We rarely get a chance to have down time but we are to the point that it should calm down a little. At least we hope!

Logan kept busy these last few months with 19 credits, an internship at Elevate, and working at Play it Again Sports.  Lucky for him it paid off fast and he is now officially a college graduate.  His degree is in Exercise Science from UVU.  Now he will be studying more to take the GRE and start applying for Physical Therapy schools.

I have been busy myself as well. I had 5 classes this semester at UVU, worked full time in the accounting department at Showtime Pictures, and still managed to maintain my full clientele of hair clients.  This meant that the only night I had off during the week was Wednesday.  I was looking forward to some time to relax while my husband was at Young Men's but just before my hectic schedule began the bishop came over with different plans in mind.  I was being called to be a Beehive Advisor which meant Wednesday night mutual.  Although I had to sacrifice some free time I am glad that I get to serve with the Young Women and be in the same organization with Logan again.  I need to cherish the church callings we have together because I know that in the future it won't ever happen.

Since my last post, Logan and I celebrated our 3rd year wedding anniversary.  To celebrate we decided to leave our busy lives and take a cruise to the Bahamas.  It was so fun to relax and enjoy each others company non stop for 1 week straight.  I guess it was like a second honeymoon.  Logan is hooked on the cruise style of vacationing, which I am super excited about! If only we could afford to go more often.. I will post pictures and details about the trip soon.

During the Christmas break we are just happy that we get to relax. Logan is still working most of the days at Play it Again Sports, and I am still busy with hair and work myself. Luckily, I get to take off the whole week between Christmas and New Year's and escape to St. George to visit my sister and my parents.  Logan is going to be on the job search at home so if you hear of anything please let him know.

Happy Holidays!

We are Alive..

Wow! It has been ages since I have updated this thing.  Not a lot has happened since my last post but I will update you on the few changes.

The biggest change is that I got an accounting job.  I work at a place called showtime pictures.  It has photo concession stands at tourist locations around the U.S. and in a few other countries.  I work full time there plus continue to do hair so I am pretty busy.  But other all I am happy that I can get a little experience while still in school.

I was able to go to Lake Powell with my family two weeks ago.  It was a blast as always.  I love going there.  But I missed my big brother Kenyon.  He is the only one that will get up early to water ski with me so this year I only went two or three times.  All of the grand kids came and they were so fun to play with. It was a good distraction for me since Logan had to stay home.

As soon as I came home Logan was off to Scout Camp.  The went to Goblin Valley and to Moab, where they went on lots of hikes and bike rides.  He sounds like he had a lot of fun but I sure missed him and I am glad to have him back with me.

We just finished up the first summer block thankfully.  But we only had about two days off until the next block starts.  This next block will be a long seven weeks for the two of us but we are almost done so hopefully we survive. Logan is taking Physics II and Exercise Physiology (both of which have Labs).  Poor guy. I would hate my life if I had to take those classes.  I am just taking a few generals and a Finance class. I thought this semester would be easy but apparently I took wrong professors.  I am not looking forward to the next block.

Well one day we will do something a little more exciting so I can update this thing with pictures. But until then this is all you get.  Life is just crazy but we are still loving it.  At least the moments we get to spend together.

What we have been up to...

SCHOOL: My semester has been super busy. I am taking 15 credits which usually I can handle but these accounting teachers sure like to give a lot of work.  This week I am braving through 5 tests.  For some reason professors cannot schedule them at different times.  So then all of us students get to run around like crazy people trying to cram everything in.  I took one today and got 82% which I think is pretty good (considering I still have a 99% in the class).  Hopefully the rest go as well or better.

Logan however is doing pretty well in his classes.  He is a great student and I wish I could be as smart as him!

WORK: Work has been pretty average. Nothing crazy and luckily I get to make my own schedule so I can keep my sanity.  I did give my notice at Metropolitan and will be going back to working out of my parents home salon.  And I am trying to find an accounting job to start in May.  So yes I will be cutting down on my Hair time, but I am excited to do something a little different.

Logan still works at Play it again sports and is busy doing deliveries as well.  I must say that truck sure comes in handy.  Since we bought it he has made the payment with the extra dough. (Which is so nice since we paid off my car).

CHURCH: Logan and I have been teaching the 14 and 15 year old Sunday school class for about 18 months now.  We love it most days but sadly we were released last week.  I will be going back to Primary with either the 7 year olds or the sunbeams. (I think this is Birth control via the Bishopric, so that we stay in the ward longer!) I am super excited though. We taught Primary in our old ward and I love being with all those fun little kids.

Logan hasn't technically been sustained yet but he has been called to be the 1st counselor in the Young Men's program.  I think he is excited! He will be working with all the boys from our previous class so the transition will be a cinch.  But as the wife I am a little sad.  He is going to have to go on a lot of camp outs and activities with these boys and leave me home all alone!

That is all we have been up to lately.  Maybe once school gets out we can do things that are a little more exciting for the blog world!!

Logan's Birthday Present

Well, after hoping that Logan's neon would survive 18 more months it finally died.  We were super sad that it stopped working but of course Logan was excited because that meant he could get a new car.  We ended up buying a truck from my brother.  Logan loves it and I just remind him that this is his birthday present. (This is the only thing that could have gotten me out of buying him more of those ugly shoes)! So if that is the case than I am glad he got the truck haha! We are super excited to have the truck because that means Logan can do deliveries for work and make a little more cash! He even took me out to Heber with him to put together an exercise bike for this old guy! It wasn't the most romantic date I have been on but it was totally worth $100! Here is a picture of his truck.. I haven't been able to take a picture of the real thing so I just found one online of the same style.  Ours is white!
I can tell that Logan is super excited about it because he woke up early and was cleaning it really good! He is a dork sometimes.  I bought him some rubber floor mats and a steering wheel cover to hide a few imperfections.  I hope he doesn't expect this big of a gift every year!

Just a little side note.  This was our first big purchase since we have been married.  (Even though we just paid off my car and now we have the same car payment so it isn't even any different).  But it sure made us feel all grown up!!

*Private*

It is official this blog is now Private! I need to update this thing with our life happenings but being young married, working, students is pretty busy here at the Webster house!  So bare with me and wait a few more weeks until I can actually breathe again.  This coming up week I not only have a test but I have a test in all 5 of my class. I might not survive but I sure will try to make it through.

Also, Logan's birthday is coming up.. I can't believe that he is going to be 24! We are getting so old! It seems like yesterday we were in high school with no worries.  It is amazing how fast time flies.  I need to think of something fun to do for his birthday, (and to relieve myself from the mental toll of taking 5 tests in a week). Any ideas?

Goodbye 2010, Hello 2011!

2010 was a wonderful year for us. It was full of ups and downs, but mostly ups so I am sad to see it go! Here is our Top 10 list since I do not do Christmas cards yet:

10:We were able to go to St. George, Lake Powell, Oklahoma, Richfield, and the Grand Canyon.

9:I started school again (which is a good thing but sometimes I question this decision, especially during finals week).

8:Logan's car is still running!! That is a miracle for the green machine! Now it just needs to make it 18 more months until we both graduate!

7: We both started working at new places.

6:We made an addition to our family. By purchasing a scooter. (No babies for a while!)

5: We purchased a Wii. And while it doesn't get played a lot provides us with easy and cheap entertainment!

4: We enjoyed teaching the 14-15 year old Sunday school class, and they actually liked us too.

3: We enjoyed spending time together no matter what we were doing.

2:We celebrated our 2 year anniversary!

1: And most importantly we are still best friends and I love Logan even more today than I did when we got married. He is an amazing person and I am so lucky I get to be with him for eternity!

Since this post is a little late, I decided to do a Top 10 list of goals we want to achieve in 2011. We are both excited to begin this new year together and work on these goals with each other. I am excited to see what 2011 has in store for us and can't wait to spend it with Logan:

10: Survive 3 semesters of school and maybe get a few good grades!

9:Save some money! (isn't this every one's goal all the time?)

8: Logan will take his test for PT school, hopefully he does great so we can get right in.

7: Go to the Temple more often.

6: Go on a fun vacation. My preference would be a cruise! Logan's would be Ecuador.

5: Find more ways to serve others.

4: Enjoy being poor, married college students. Ha Ha..

3: Eat healthier. This is mostly for me, I need to start eating vegetables I guess!

2: Go to the gym together regularly.

1: Continue to fall deeper in love with each other. (I know this one is cheesy but I do kinda like my husband and I want to keep it that way!)

Also I am making my blog private soon! I know this is probably cutting my readers in half but if you would like to be able to still read it please leave your email in a comment. Thanks!

Holiday's with the Webster's

The holidays at the Webster house were so much fun this year. This was our 3rd Christmas together as a married couple. Can you believe how old we are getting haha!? Logan spoiled me as usual with some much needed clothes and jackets. I gave Logan clothes as well, but he was probably less excited about that. I forgot my memory card that day so there isn't any pictures of us opening presents. We spent Christmas Eve over at my parents house for dinner and then headed over to Logan's dad's house for a sleepover with most of the Webster kids! Christmas morning we went to watch Tay and Cooper open their presents. Those kids are so cute! Watching them come out and see all their presents was priceless. Christmas day was spent at Logan's mom's. We are so lucky to have such great families to spend Christmas with. We love them so much and our so grateful for everything they do for us!!

To start off the new year Logan and I went to a Jazz game with my brother Kenyon, his wife Shayli, my twin Cami, and her husband Chris. The game turned out to be so fun. We got to see the Jazz have three great dunks and of course they won! Here are a few pics of us in our seats:

Me and Logan

Kenyon and Shayli

Cami and Chris

As you can tell Logan and I are all dressed up in our jersey's while everyone else is not. I think they is a little more Jazz fever at the Webster's.. We had a great time and need to do it more often! I love being at the game instead of watching it on TV!
